GOOBINGOO("we," "us," or "our") operates goobingoo.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Name, email, phone, and shipping address when you place an order or sign up for our newsletter
  • Mobile phone number when you opt in to our SMS marketing program
  • Payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments and other payment processors — we never store your full credit card details)
  • Communications you send us (support emails, contact-form messages)

Information collected automatically:

  • Browser type, device type, IP address, and pages viewed (via cookies and analytics)
  • Order and browsing behavior on goobingoo.com
  • Referral source data (e.g., if you arrived from one of our YouTube videos, we may record the campaign for analytics)

How We Use Your Information

  • Process and fulfill your orders, including sharing your name and shipping address with our suppliers and shipping carriers
  • Send order confirmations, tracking updates, and customer-service responses

Text Message Marketing (SMS)

GOOBINGOO operates an SMS marketing program through our SMS marketing partner, Klaviyo. This section describes how that program works, the data we collect, and your rights.

Program description. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our SMS program, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from GOOBINGOO. Messages may include promotions, order updates, abandoned-cart reminders, new product launches, and other GOOBINGOO-related communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time.

SMS information we collect:

  • Mobile phone number you provide
  • Mobile carrier name
  • Date, time, and content of messages sent and received
  • Whether messages are opened, clicked, or replied to
  • Time-zone information to optimize send times

Abandoned-cart text messages. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart-reminder messages by text message to customers who have opted in to SMS marketing. You can opt out of these messages at any time by replying STOP.

Third-party data sharing. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data, mobile phone number, or consent record with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The above exclusion of data sharing applies specifically to text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Location tracking. GOOBINGOO does NOT track your real-time location, use location-based services, or use location data to target SMS marketing messages. We only use the shipping address you provide at checkout for order fulfillment purposes, as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Your SMS rights.

  • Opt out anytime: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one confirmation message and no further marketing texts.
  • Help: Reply HELP at any time for support information.
  • Data access and deletion: Email support@goobingoo.com to request a copy of, correct, or delete the SMS data we hold about you.

Who We Share Your Information With

  • Suppliers and fulfillment partners — to ship your order
  • Payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) — to handle transactions
  • Email and analytics services (Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Google Analytics) — for marketing and analytics
  • Legal authorities — when required by law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. SMS opt-in data and consent records are explicitly excluded from any data sharing, as described in the Text Message Marketing section above.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart populated, run analytics, personalize your experience, and (for SMS-opted-in customers) track abandoned carts to send reminder text messages. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work properly.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications (email and SMS)

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill your orders, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Inactive accounts are typically purged after 3 years. SMS opt-in data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed and is deleted promptly upon opt-out request.

Children's Privacy

GOOBINGOO does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on goobingoo.com with its effective date.
